Corrective Exercises

At Advanced Care Chiropractic and Weight Loss Center, we demonstrate to our patients that exercises for the most part are unnecessary when the structure is actually corrected. Strength returns to muscles immediately when structure is corrected.

Weak muscles are a symptom themselves, not the cause. Most people are not suffering from weak muscles. Muscles are weak because the structure is twisted and muscles don’t function correctly.

A lot of the information people operate by is simply not true. Strengthening weak muscles through exercise is one example. Many of these corrective exercises can actually twist the body up even tighter. You may be experiencing pain that is coming from muscles and connective tissues which are not functioning properly because your structure is twisted.

Why is it twisted? Because a bone has moved forward into a position that your body cannot self-correct and it has to twist in order to hold itself up.

Lifestyle Advice

Many of our patients come to see us to address a specific pain symptom such as back pain, neck pain or headaches. While we will address each patient's specific condition with chiropractic care, we often find it helpful to "coach" our patients towards achieving a healthier lifestyle. For example, there may be certain activities that you should avoid or do differently to prevent yourself from unintentionally aggravating your particular health challenges. The goal of including lifestyle advice with a your care plan is to help each and every patient achieve the fulfilling and happy lifestyle they deserve, one that is full of the activities that are enjoyed most. We recognize that every single one of our patients is a whole person, and we use our expertise to help them reach total health and wellness.
